April 2021 FWRR\nNEWSLETTER<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

FWRR Club Meeting<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next meeting of the Fort\nWayne Rifle and Revolver Club will be held on April 6, 2021.  Meeting Place:  New Haven Community Center, 7500 SR 930 East.\n(Enter at the east end of the building). \nMeeting Time: 6:00 \u2013 7:30 p.m. (The building must be vacated by 8:00\np.m.)  Venue Restrictions: No alcohol or\nfirearms on the premises.  Please try to\nattend as a quorum is required to conduct club business.  Attendees are asked to wear masks and to\nobserve social distancing protocol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Agenda: Standard meeting\nformat.   Clean-up Day activities will be\naddressed under the heading New Business<\/em>. Please feel free to bring up\nideas for work that you would like to see accomplished or started on Clean-up\nDay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Events\nSchedule<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2021 Events\nSchedule is posted on the FWRR website. \nMembers who have elected to receive the newsletter via USPS will find\ncopies of the schedule enclosed with this newsletter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2021 Dues<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Members who have\nnot sent in renewal forms, proof of current NRA membership, and fees have until\nMarch 31st<\/sup> to pay their dues. \nPlease note that a $25.00 late fee must now be paid.   After March 31st<\/sup>, delinquency\nwill result in membership termination. \nTerminated members must reapply for membership and pay the new-member\ninitiation fee if they desire reinstatement. \nIf personal hardship prevents timely payment, contact a club officer who\nmay arrange for dues to be waived or payment to be deferred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Newsletter\nEditor<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The club is still\nseeking a volunteer to serve as Newsletter Editor.  The editor is responsible for collecting\ninputs from club officers and ROs, preparing the newsletter, and distributing\nit via email or USPS (per member preference) two weeks prior to club meetings.\nInterested members may contact Marty Didion (martindidion4@gmail.com<\/a>) to volunteer and\/or to receive additional information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clean-up Day<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clean-up Day is\nscheduled for April 24th<\/sup>.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sad News<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Club has been\nnotified of the passing of two members: \nAlan Abramow and Mark Heuer. Alan\u2019s membership date was December,\n1999.  He passed away on July 3,\n2020.  Mark, a member since October of\n1996, passed away in January 16, 2021. \nPlease extend condolences to their families and friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mowing Crew<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks go to the\nmembers who served on the mowing crew during the past year. Anyone interested\nin becoming a member of the mowing crew should contact Marty Didion (martindidion4@gmail.com<\/a>) to be placed on the 2021 Mowing Schedule.  A mowing schedule will be posted on the club\nwebsite sometime in April.  Typically,\nmowing is performed on Wednesdays. Dates may vary due to weather conditions and\ngrass growth rates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
