2026 Junior State Championship Match Bulletin<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dates of Match:<\/strong>                     June 20, 2026  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sponsor:<\/strong>  Fort Wayne Rifle and Revolver Club in association with the Indiana State Rifle and Pistol Association (ISRPA)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Location:<\/strong>  Fort Wayne Rifle and Revolver Club Range; 15715 Rupert Road; Harlan, IN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Competition Open To:<\/strong>  This match is open to all competitors who may legally possess firearms. Membership in the CMP or Fort Wayne Rifle and Revolver Club is not required.  All competitors must execute a 2026 CMP \u201cEligibility and Liability Agreement\u201d at check-in.  Junior shooters will require a 2026 CMP \u201cParental Consent Form\u201d to compete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The match is open to shooters of any age, but Juniors will be given preference in squadding and target assignments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entry Fee:       <\/strong>$35.00 – may be waived for Juniors  depending on funding received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration:  <\/strong>Pre-registration may be made by contacting the Match Director at FWRRHPDirector@aol.com<\/a>.  Pre-registration requests for specific targets and relays will be honored inasmuch as possible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day of match registration and setup open at 7:30 AM. Registration closes at 8:35 AM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Firing:<\/strong>  First shot will go down range promptly  at  9:00 AM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Match Rules:<\/strong>  This match will be shot in accordance with the \u201cCMP Highpower Rifle Competition Rules (2026); 29th Edition<\/a>\u201d.  This will be a CMP Cup Match with sighters allowed and rapid fire strings starting in position.  The Junior State Championship is a Service Rifle only competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Course of Fire:<\/strong>   This match will be fired as CMP Cup HP Rifle Standard Course Match (Rule 6.5).  This will be an 80-round match (Rule 6.5.3).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The  200-yard stages of this match will be fired at 200 yards, 300-yard stages are fired at 300 yards on the SR-3 target and 600-yard stages are fired at 300 yards on the MR-63 target.  (Rule 6.6.6)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Awards:<\/strong>   Awards will be made based on competitor CMP Classification and the number of competitors firing in each classification.  Classifications may be combined if there are fewer than three competitors in a category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

General Information:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This match will be fired concurrently with the FWRR monthly match. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This match will be fired on Silver Mountain electronic targets; there is no pit duty but competitors are expected to assist in setup and tear-down of targets.  Competitors are required to furnish their own display device (iPad, iPhone, smart phone, tablet – etc).  Competitors should ensure that their display device has sufficient battery capacity to support the scheduled course of fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Match grade ammunition is available to Junior shooters at no cost courtesy of Indiana Junior High Power.<\/u><\/em><\/strong>  Any safe ammunition may be used.  No tracers, incendiary of explosive ammunition may be used. \u201cGreen tip\u201d ammunition is allowed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lunch will be available.  Juniors will eat free, there will be a nominal charge of $12.00 for others.  Lunch reservations are requested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
