{"id":3132,"date":"2026-06-25T13:08:23","date_gmt":"2026-06-25T13:08:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fwrrclub.org\/?p=3132"},"modified":"2026-06-25T13:10:51","modified_gmt":"2026-06-25T13:10:51","slug":"2026-mid-summer-madness-weekend-matches","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fwrrclub.org\/index.php\/2026\/06\/25\/2026-mid-summer-madness-weekend-matches\/","title":{"rendered":"2026 Mid-Summer Madness Weekend Matches"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Last weekend, Friday through Sunday, June 19 through 21 \u2013 was the Mid-Summer Madness series of matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We started on Friday afternoon with a 50-round National Match Course match.\u00a0 It was as perfect an afternoon to shoot a match as one could ask for and twelve shooters gave us a full line with twelve electronic targets operating for the weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not surprisingly, Mike King fired the high score with a 494-20X. followed by Mark Walters\u2019 483-7X.&nbsp; Our visitor from Frankfort Kentucky, Bill Balda finished out the top three spots falling one point shy of Mark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Saturday, June 20, 2066, the Fort Wayne Rifle and Revolver Club hosted the sixth annual Indiana Junior High Power Championship match.&nbsp; This match was held along with a CMP 80-round Match and included \u201cold folks\u201d as well as Juniors.&nbsp; A total of 31 shooters competed \u2013 including 12 Juniors.&nbsp; It was a beautiful day for a match with sunny skies, moderate temperature \u2013 but the gusty fishtailing winds made shooting Offhand a challenge for the competitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"666\" src=\"https:\/\/fwrrclub.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/2026-Indiana-Juniors-1024x666.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3133\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fwrrclub.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/2026-Indiana-Juniors-1024x666.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/fwrrclub.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/2026-Indiana-Juniors-300x195.jpg 300w, https:\/\/fwrrclub.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/2026-Indiana-Juniors-768x499.jpg 768w, https:\/\/fwrrclub.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/2026-Indiana-Juniors-1536x999.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/fwrrclub.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/2026-Indiana-Juniors-2048x1332.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong><em>The 2026 Indiana Juniors.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong><em>(For a left handed shooter, Port Arms is Starboard Arms.)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But, it was a good day for Emma Branson.&nbsp;
